Show Notes

You want your life to matter. One day, you’ll want to look back and know that what you built, invested in and sacrificed for made a difference. But legacy isn’t just about what you leave behind - it’s in what you’re preparing now for the future.

Using the story of Nehemiah, this message will show how you are living in someone else’s legacy - someone you may have never even met, but who considered their faith, sacrifice and commitment worth it to build what you would need today. The question then becomes, what kind of legacy are you building for the people who will come after you?

And so you're going to get the benefit of hearing some more about that this morning. So if you're new, hang with us. It's a little bit about who we are, where we're going, things like that. If you're not new, you're part of us, then you're gonna hear a lot of things you've been hearing maybe as we've gone along and a little bit. But before we do that, before we do that, I want to remind you that something is coming very quickly this year, and that's Easter. April 5th is Easter. If you're not thinking about it, we want you to think about it a little bit. That's why there's a card in the seat in front of you. It's for you to grab. Grab a pen out of the seat in front of you. And we wanna be intentional about thinking about and inviting people to our Easter service because we believe that. That people really need to know that Mosaic exists and really need to be a part of what we're doing here. And so kind of our challenge that we're all kind of accepting is writing three names down of people that you can invite to be a part of our Easter Service. Easter Sunday, 9:30, outside, pray for good skies. And what we want you to do is to pray for those people that. That are on your card. Now, maybe three people don't come to mind immediately, so just write down one name or two names and add to those names as you go. But not only do we want you to pray for them, we want you to Invest in them a little bit. Like, invite them over for dinner, meet them for lunch, grab coffee together. Something that builds that relationship and kind of lets them know that. That you really care about them. And then as you get closer, invite them. So pray for them. Invest in them, and then invite them to our Easter service. But we want to be intentional about that this year. We would love for people to see and be exposed to what we're doing. And it's going to be a fun Sunday. There are going to be bounce houses, there's going to be Kona ice. Some of you experienced our Easter services, and they are absolutely amazing. But. So let's jump into legacy. But kind of as a preface for that, kind of to build a framework for that. I want you to understand, when we talk about legacy series and this legacy campaign, we're not talking about, like, leaving something behind specifically. If you think about it, when you leave a legacy, like, leave something behind, that's what you do in the future. That's something out there somewhere that we're not there yet. But what we're doing here at Mosaic right now, when we talk about legacy and when we, you know, engage with this legacy campaign, it's about building something. Because in order to leave a legacy, you have to build something to leave behind. And so that's kind of what we're talking about now. My mind is crazy. It does all kinds of different things, and it goes in many different directions sometimes. And so when I was doing this, I was thinking, you know, what is something that I love? And it is absolutely building. Some of you know me, you know, I love building. And so I'm wondering this morning, excuse me, if you weren't doing the job that you are now, what would you do? What would you do? If money were no object and you could just do anything you wanted to do, what would it be? For me, it would actually be some type of construction. If you know me, you know, I built a deck on the back of my house. I built my dock and my floating pier. And if you're wondering how to build a floating pier, you just build it upside down on land and flip it over into the water, right? That's how you do it. You don't actually do it in the water. Nobody thought that, right? Nobody thought that. I did renovations to our house. I've done a lot of things around here. So it would probably be in construction, not necessarily the building part. Probably more like a general contractor. Because I enjoy. I really enjoy engaging with people and helping make their dreams come true, which is probably why Pastor Naim has let me stick around for a while, because he likes dreaming, and I can make his dreams. I don't know. I have no idea. But the reason I love building is because when you build something, you can, like, look back and. And you can see the accomplishment you made. And in that accomplishment, there's like, this level of fulfillment from being able to see what you actually did. But here's the deal. My next job title. Do you all know what my next. At 57 years old, you know what my next job title is? Retired. That's where I'm headed. In eight to 10 more years. You've got me for about eight to 10 more years. All right, if you want me. And then, hey, I am maybe not out of here, but I am definitely changing my. My. My speed, and it's going to change. But. But building has always been something I've enjoyed. Mosaic does mission trips to the Dominican Republic. I've been on some of those trips. I love those trips because we build homes for people who actually are living in places that are just. I mean, it's. Conditions are kind of awful. Sometimes. It's a tent with plastic around it, and we get to bless those people, and I love that. And we're doing some more trips this year or doing another trip this year. So keep an eye out for the interest meeting that's happening next month if you'd like to explore being a part of that. But it is fantastic. And building is something that Mosaic has done over the years. I don't know if you think about it, but I've got a map here of the building. So some of you know that you're in this space, but you don't know that there's a whole bigger building that we're a part of in this space. So we are currently in the auditorium and in Elkid space. We moved into this space on Easter of 2014. It was an amazing. An amazing accomplishment for Mosaic. We raised, like, $1.5 million and were able to move into this space. Then in 2017, we bought the space that's labeled next gen. It was just a warehouse. And in 2020, we upfit it. Then we bought the two spaces. Nope, sorry. We bought the space in the middle that says gym. It also was a warehouse. Some of you remember going through that with us. There was this pole right in the middle of the warehouse, and we wanted it to be a gym, and so we had to figure out how to deal with the pole. That was an issue. And then in 2020, three, we bought these other two spaces over here, which we now have tenants in. And Mosaic has been building and building. And this year, the reason we're in this series and in this campaign is Mosaic is planning in 2026 to get this next space, this space next door, which you might hear me refer to it as Bounce U. Because in 2014, when we moved into, that's what the name of the business was, Bounce U. It was an indoor inflatable park or party place. I don't know how you describe it, but it was called Bounce U. But here's what I want to tell you on Friday at 4:30pm ish. The U in Bounce U stands for under contract. We have it under contract, finally. And there's a bigger story there. I'll share that with you in a minute. But we kicked off this campaign, this series, because we believe what God is calling us to do is to move ourselves to expand into that space. Now, that's collectively. But I think sometimes we all feel like God is calling us to do something. You know, some of you, some of you, your job is your calling. Some of you just kind of landed in a job. You kind of picked a job. You. You decided. I think this job pays enough money, so I'll take that job. But for some of you, your job is actually a calling. All right? And so that's your call. My brother, last week he turned 50 years old and he has a little bit of a new calling on his life. They have now started fostering children. At 50, he's got two in college, he's got one in high school, and he ended up with a two year old and a four year old. Let me tell you, at 50, that was not my calling. That was not. I just wanted to get my kids grown up and kind of get them out. One came back, but that's okay. He's always welcome. They're always welcome. But maybe your calling, and it doesn't have to be connected to your job, but maybe you feel called to invest in the life of a friend or a coworker that's going through a difficult time. Or maybe, you know, maybe you have a calling on your life to start a small group or to create a space where there can be healing for someone who's experienced trauma in their life. From time to time, we just feel like there's something we're called to do. But here at Mosaic, in this period of time, collectively, we feel like God is calling us forward to build out this space, to create, to have this huge accomplishment. It will be a huge accomplishment over the next couple of years. And so this morning, what I'd like to do is talk about basically about three different things. Number one, why is it so important? Why is it so important that we take this space? How it all happened. All right. How did it all happen a couple weeks ago? If. If you are someone who gives and or serves here at Mosaic, you're called a Mosaic maker because that's how we know you're a part of us. It's what we do. We give and we serve. And then you fit into that category. But on a call, a zoom call, a Mosaic makers call, Pastor Naim shared with you the facts about how it all happened. What I want to do this morning is actually share with you how it was so easy for us to see the hand of God working through the facts and the way that things happened. And so I'm going to share that with you this morning. And I also want to share with you how you can be a part of it all. So why is it so important? I think I really shouldn't have to tell you why it's important. You can hear. No. Why it's so important. It's so important because we have the opportunity as a church to prepare a place for the future of Mosaic. Like I mentioned a minute ago, in eight or 10 years, something like that, I'm gonna retire one day. Pastor Naim, Pastor Kristen, Pastor Isaac, we're all going to retire. But Mosaic Church must go on. Because I don't know if you know this, but Charlotte needs Mosaic Church. Charlotte doesn't need another judgmental, exclusive church that believes that their job is to be the police force of God to make sure everybody follows the rules. We don't need any more. The Queen City has plenty of those churches. There need to be more churches like Mosaic, and Mosaic needs to lead the way. What Charlotte needs is a church that offers grace and acceptance, a church that's willing to reclaim the message and the movement of Jesus and strip away all the things that people over the years have added to what it means, what they believe it means to be a follower of Jesus. A church that embraces all people with the love of Jesus and allows Jesus to impact their lives with his love. That's what Charlotte needs. And that's why, over the years, Mosaic has identified with phrases. You've heard, phrases that we've used over the years. One of those is belong before you believe. We want to create a space where you feel like you belong here, even if you don't believe what we do. And we want to give you enough time to gradually. We don't expect you to believe everything we believe when you walk in, but we do want you to feel like you belong in this place. Another one of those phrases, hope for all. We believe that hope is for everyone, not just for some. Jesus is not just for some people that want to clean up everything about their life. Hope is for all people. We believe that Charlotte needs a church for people who had pretty much given up on God because of a previous church experience or something like that. That was really poor reflection of Jesus. And it's not to say we're always gonna get it right. You've heard over the past couple weeks, we're gonna do some things wrong. We're human, but we believe that we're doing the best that we can, and we believe that Mosaic offers something different. And so that's one of the reasons why it's so important. Another reason this campaign is so important is because I don't know if you ever stopped to think about it, but over 12 years ago, somebody thought about you. Somebody had the calling or the burden on their life of putting something in place so that you could actually be here this morning. Some of you. Twelve years ago, you were still eating baby food. I'm believing that maybe that's not true, but 12 years ago, you didn't even know you were gonna be living in Charlotte. Twelve years ago, you were in high school, but somebody thought about you. Somebody thought enough about your future without even knowing you that they were willing to put in place Mosaic and to help create this space that we're in. That's why it's so important. And that's the privilege, the opportunity we have before us to do for someone else. But none of this is going to be easy. It's not going to be easy. That's why when Pastor Naim launched this series, he said, it's going to take faith, it's going to take sacrifice, and it's going to take commitment. Now, when I think about faith and sacrifice and commitment, those three words together, and I think about Scripture, the person that comes to my mind, the person that embodied that, was a guy named Nehemiah. Nehemiah was a Jew, but Nehemiah had never been in Judah, in Jerusalem, Judah, the area where the Jews live, and never even been to Jerusalem, because he finds himself in captivity, because another country has come and carried them off and taken them away. The amazing thing is, and you can read all about this in the Old Testament, First Chronicles, 2 Chronicles, especially Esther the amazing thing is Nehemiah finds himself years later as the cupbearer for the king of the country that he is in now, in the country of Persia. Now, some of you are like, cupbearer? What in the world does that mean? Well, another way to describe it is a wine taster. He got to taste all the wine before the king drank it. And some of you are thinking maybe that's the dream job that you could have. Okay, all right, before you think that, let me explain to you one other thing about this job of a wine taster. So one of the ways that you got rid of a king if you didn't like the king was to put poison in his wine. And so it actually worked several times enough that kings started putting people into place. Not only did they have their armed guards to protect them, but they started putting into place a cup bearer who would taste their wine and make sure there was no poison in it. And that is Nehemiah's job. And so you may think it's a great job, you may think it's a little risky. I don't know. But. But what's important is that that job put Nehemiah in a position to have direct access to the king at that time. And Nehemiah, we're gonna see, leverages that position. So let's look a little bit at this story and see what's happening in Nehemiah as it opens up in chapter one. In late autumn, in the month of Kislev, in the 20th year of King Artaxerxes reign, I was at the fortress of Susa. So Nehemiah was at the palace, the king's palace in Persia. Hanani, one of my brothers, came to visit me with some other men who had just arrived from Judah. I asked them about the Jews who had returned there from captivity and about how things were going in Jerusalem. So the Babylonians originally took the Israelites away. The Jewish people, and they were really rough with them. They didn't allow anybody to go back. But when the Persians took over the Babylonians, they allowed some of the Jewish people to go back to build, to rebuild the temple. And. And these people are coming, and Nehemiah is saying, hey, how is everything there? I know they built the temple, but how's everything else going there? And this is what they said to him. Things are not going well for those who return to the province of Judah. They are in great trouble and disgrace. The wall of Jerusalem has been torn down and the gates have been destroyed by fire. And it's at this point that Nehemiah feels the burden to prepare the future for God's chosen people, this Jewish race of people, and leave a legacy for them. He feels this burden of rebuilding this city. So Nehemiah exercises his faith. You can see what he does as the chapter continues. He prays. When I heard this, Nehemiah said, I sat down and wept. In fact, for days I mourned and fasted and prayed to the God of heaven. Then I said, oh, Lord, God of heaven and great and awesome God, who keeps his covenant of unfailing love with those who love him and obey his commands, hear my prayer. Look down and see me praying night and day for your people, Israel. I confess that we have sinned against you. Yes, even my own family and I have sinned against you. We have sinned terribly by not obeying the commands, decrees and regulations that you gave us through your servant Moses. Oh, Lord, please hear my prayer. Listen to the prayers of those of us who delight in honoring you. Please grant me success today by making the king favorable to me. Put it into his heart to be kind to me. So Nehemiah exercised his faith. Nehemiah prayed. And how many of you know that for years and years we've been praying to acquire this space next door? Before we even moved into this space, we used to walk, we used to circle this plot of land, and we prayed for this building. We prayed that God would give us this space. And he did. And we prayed and prayed and prayed that God would give us this space. And even a couple of years ago, five or six years ago, we had a verbal agreement to buy this. But it was right before COVID started. And God gave us the wisdom not to buy it then, because with the way everything happened, we lost people, we lost funding, we lost all kinds of things. And it probably would have crippled us as a church, but we knew what we wanted, and so did Nehemiah. So what did Nehemiah do? He sacrificed his position. And he went to the king. And here's what happened. Early the following spring, in the month of Nisan, during the 20th year of King Artaxerxes reign, I was serving the king his wine. I had never before appeared sad in his presence. So the king asked me, why are you looking so sad? You don't look sick to me. You must be deeply troubled then. I was terrified. So let me tell you why he was terrified. Because when the king asked you a question, you answered, but you didn't give too much information, because really, the king didn't care. At least that's typically the way it worked. Typically what you did is you did your job and you left. You came in, you tasted your wine, you left. You didn't speak to the king because you were beneath the king and the king and his servants did not interact with. But on this particular day, Nehemiah decided, you know, I'm gonna put it out there. I'm gonna lay it out there. I'm gonna sacrifice my position and possibly even my life because if what he said was not pleasing to the king, it could be the end of his life. But here's what he said. Long live the king. How can I not be sad but for the city where my ancestors are buried is in ruins and the gates have been destroyed by fire. Nehemiah sacrificed his position. And here's what happened. It actually paid off because what the king said was, okay, Nehemiah, what do you want? And Nehemiah said, well, there's a couple things I'd like to have. Oh, dear king. First of all, I would like to have papers so that I could travel from Persia all the way back to Judah and it would be under the king's decree so nobody will kill me and I can have papers for that. And the king said, okay, you got it. And he said, well, since you're in a good mood, oh, dear king, I need wood from the king's forest to build the walls back and to build the city back. Could you maybe make that happen for me as well? And all of Nehemiah's requests were honored. The king gave him everything he asked for. And not only that, he provided him with an armed guard to make it all the way back to Judah and to Jerusalem. So it is quite amazing the way that God orchestrated everything to happen for Nehemiah to go and rebuild the walls of Jerusalem. Which is exactly how I would explain to you what happened here over the past. Literally the past couple of weeks as we've started this campaign, as we prepared to start this campaign. So I don't know if you kind of followed along with us. I wouldn't expect you to because you're kind of trying to keep up with us, probably. But first of all, this campaign, we had to push it back a couple of weeks. Some of you remember the. We didn't even meet for two weeks in this space because of snow, because of ice. We planned an anniversary. We had to postpone that because there was ice that weekend. And so we said, hey, let's do our anniversary on the Sunday that we kick off this campaign and it'll Be even more amazing and even more special. And then things started happening in those weeks that the two weeks before we were supposed to start the campaign. Now, just to frame it up a little bit more, you remember, like I said, that we were going to buy this space right before COVID and then we stopped. And then Covid happened and a lot of awful things happened, but a lot of really cool things happened too, that we never would have thought possible. During the time of COVID we had a school come and lease our facility. And what we were able to do was to put them in this auditorium and kids space. All right? They came first with high schoolers and then they said, well, hey, we got some middle schoolers we'd like to bring. Okay, we can do middle schoolers. So we put them into this space and they said, well, we've got some upper elementary kids, but we need some space. So we built out the next gen space. They took over that space. They said, we've got some more kids we want to bring. And all this whole time the school is growing and growing. So then we bought these other two spaces, like I mentioned before, they filled up those spaces. So what happened through Covid? One of the worst times in a lot of our lives is God allowed us to purchase the periphery spaces in our building. And so when we came to 2026, we said, hey, here's what we want to do. We, we want to add a little bit more, actually a lot more. And we wanna get bounce you, we wanna get this space next door. So what we wanna do in 2026 is start a two year campaign. Because this church that you hear regularly, this church is supposed to be here until December 2027, January 2028. So two years would put us in a place where we could buy it when they're leaving. All right, fantastic. So let's launch a campaign. Right? When we began planning to launch this campaign, I learned that the owners of Bounce U had put it on the market. And I'm like, wait a minute, why did this happen? And how can we make sure that it's gonna be there for us in two years? So I called up the owners and I said, hey, let's have a little talk. And so I met with them and I said, here's what we wanna do. We obviously want your space, you know this. So how can we give you some money now and come up with a price in two years to pay you? And you take it off the market, you save it for us. Because what I also had just learned was not only Is it for up for sale? But somebody was looking at it. Somebody was very interested in it, and they had gone over and looked at it, and so, like, we have to do something. And so I met with them. We actually negotiated a way to make that happen. But when this other group was looking at this space, the owner of Bounce U said, hey, you know, I know you're thinking this is a little bit too big for you. You might want to call Mike over at Mosaic and talk to him. He may have space he wants to sell over there. And I'm like, no, that is not the plan. That's never been the plan. As a matter of fact, I personally leveraged my house because I felt like it would help Mosaic. And I bought that warehouse in the back corner late last year because one day, Mosaic will want it. In the meantime, I'll use it. I'll lease it out. I'll hopefully break even on it and do that. But. But they called me, and I said, okay, yeah, I'll meet with you, because I want to know what you're trying to do here, and I want to maybe get all the information that I can from you. And so they were kind of interested in that warehouse. And I'm like, that's not my plan, but, hey, I'll meet you. Okay? And who knows what God can do, right? So I met them, and we looked at that space, and I actually. I literally told them, this is our plan. This is what we're hoping to do. This is what we want to do. And during that conversation, they said to me, well, what if we were to buy those spaces that you have tenants in? They're a real estate company. And then we want to maybe buy this space, this warehouse space to put our offices in. What if that would allow you to do what you want to do? And I said, well, that's not really the plan, but if you want to send an offer, send an offer. A day and a half later, they send an offer for tenant tenant, those two spaces for my warehouse and for the next gen space, which kind of threw me for a loop, because we did not even talk about that. But you know what? I did the math is I began figuring out the math, and we negotiated back and forth. They gave me an offer that was pretty ridiculous, and I sent them back a counteroffer that was maybe equally as ridiculous. Okay? That's just the way it works. I don't know. It's a game. It's a game. But we came together on a price, and we began meeting and praying, okay, God, what are you doing? We met with the trustees and we met with some different people, and here are five options, and we narrowed them down to three. And then we. We kind of just worked our way through praying about this. And what we finally came to was the realization that during one of the worst periods in a lot of our lives in Covid and in a very difficult time for Mosaic, God allowed us to gather up these spaces. And now we were going to be able to look, leverage them to get the space that he wanted us to. The amount of money that they were giving us would be enough to put the down payment to pay any difference on and get started renovating this space over there. Isn't that amazing? That's amazing. And so being able to do, selling these spaces, that will actually free me up to be less of a landlord. It accelerates our process. Now we're not launching a campaign in 2026 to do something in two years from now. We're launching a campaign in 2026 to move along simultaneously and do even more than we dreamed that we could possibly do. In the beginning, phase one is to build out the front of the space as an auditorium, not an auditorium, as a foyer area and a coffee shop. And then phase two would be like a 500 seat auditorium right over here. And then phase three would be to turn this into more kids space and youth space and space for our ministries. And God is allowing us to do that in a whole lot quicker time frame than we ever believed it was possible. But it's going to require commitment. It's going to require commitment to make all this happen. For Nehemiah, there was commitment involved. He had to commit to leaving his job as the wine taster. It was a glorious job most of the time. But not only did the wine taster get to drink wine all the time, but he lived in the palace. He lived in royalty. He lived in an amazing place. But he gave up all that to go back to this city that is just rubble and live in a place of rubbish while they begin to build back the walls. And he took on that job, and that was his commitment. But for us, there is also a commitment. And I want to share with you how you can be a part of what God is doing here in Charlotte to advance his kingdom. On the way out, you're going to get a card that looks like this. It should be on the screen. You don't have to see this little one in my hand. When you walk into a car dealership, some of you bought a car maybe recently. What do they want to know? What do you want your monthly payment to be? All right, we're not really concerned with the monthly payment here. It's there in the center. You can kind of see what I want to. What we're interested in. What I'm interested in is what's gonna be in this column over here, like a total amount. And that's the reason you have these cards. It's to put a name on and it's also to write a dollar amount on. Now, I'm not taking up the cards. You're taking the cards home with you. Nobody's gonna see this. But I wanna challenge you this morning. If you were going to make a faith commitment that required sacrifice, what would that number be? Maybe it's one of the numbers you see listed here, maybe it's not. You can come up with your own number. But if you were gonna make a faith, if you were gonna come up with a number on faith, what would it actually be? And then I want you to just stick in your pocket, take it home, pray about that. Because March 29th is commitment Sunday. It is the Sunday that we are asking everybody to come and commit. Or maybe you do it before then. I know you've probably seen the emails that have been coming out so that you can pledge and let us know what your commitment is going to be. You get this card on the way out. You can fill out the back. There are three different boxes on the back. You can choose which one you want to fill in, whether you want to give a total of, or whether you want to do a one time donation, or whether you want to give monthly. There's a spot. You can drop this card in the tithe box on your way out on any given Sunday and we'll enter the information in for you. Or you can scan the QR code on the sign out there. You can work through the emails that you're getting. But our goal is to raise a million dollars together. There's no way that just a few people can make this happen. It takes everybody. If you read on in Nehemiah chapter three, you're going to see that it took everybody to rebuild those walls. And what's interesting to me is the first people that started building the walls were the high priests. So it was the pastors. All right, so here's what I want you to know. All of your pastors have pledged. We are all in this together. We are in this with you. And we're believing that God is going to do immeasurably more through this campaign than we can ask or imagine. Now, some of you know my story. Some of you just heard an allusion to my story a few minutes ago when I said I built my dock and I built my floating pier. Some of you know I. I live on the lake. And most of you have heard my story. And you know there's no reason that this pastor should live on the lake except for the fact that God made it possible. I'm not a trust fund baby. My parents are still alive. They haven't left me a huge inheritance. Everything we have is either things we work for or things God has made possible. And if I'm contributing anything to the fact that we live on the lake, it's because of a commitment my wife and I made over 30 years ago. Over 30 years ago, we said, you know what? We're going to tithe, and we're going to be generous. Now, I'm not telling you that it's always been easy, but we've done it consistently. We've done it every single week. We haven't missed a month or a week or whatever frequency it was supposed to be in 30 years. That's why I believe that God has allowed us to be in the position or in the place that we are now. Not because I want a lottery ticket, but because his blessings this Malachi 310 promise. I don't know if you've heard it, but it's the scripture that says, bring the whole tithe into the storehouse and see if I don't pour pour out my blessings on you to overflowing. That's what we've experienced in our life. And I've seen multiple people over my years of ministry that have stepped into that commitment and have been generous and have just experienced the blessings of God. You can experience that, too. And that's what I want to pray this morning. I want to pray that you will have faith to latch onto this campaign that we're doing to connect with it, to engage in it, to commit to it, so we can do this together and not only see God work here in the life of Mosaic, but actually even work in our lives as we do it together. So can I pray for you this morning, Father? Thank you. Thank you for. Thank you for creating a space called Mosaic that we can be a part of, that we can experience your love, that we can experience your grace. God, I'm just thinking of so many people right now. I'm just almost a sea of people that have found hope in this place, hope that they had lost in you and in the church and God, I know that you have called us to be a place that lives by faith, that's known by love, and it's a voice of hope, a diverse place, a diverse community. And so, God, we just pray that you would continue to show us how to do that personally and individually. But God, we also know that you're calling us collectively to take the next step of the faith in our journey and our history and purchase the space next door. And, God, you've made that possible. So, God, we pray that you would help us as we figure out how we can give, to not only purchase the space, but also to upfit it and make it a place where generations after us will continue to hear about you and the great things that you have done for us. So, God, speak to us, help us to know how we can, in faith, give to this campaign. Father, we thank you this morning. We thank you for the sacrifice that you made for us through your son, Jesus, that we have salvation, that we have forgiveness, that we have this relationship with you that allows us to live in the fullness of life. God, thank you for that. It's in your son's name we pray. Amen. Thanks for listening to this message from Mosaic church in Charlotte, North Carolina.
